Ok so Nemo didn’t dump on us the way he had promised. But we still made good with what we had. I’ll take six inches although a couple of feet would have been fun too.
It was a weekend of bustle and activity around our house.
Saturday morning we took the boys out sliding down hill.
Later on we all got to enjoy the “Benda official” coldest rink in the Northeast! Seriously my toes were frozen and I couldn’t sit down for fear my butt would stick to the aluminum benches. I made a mental note that next time we have a game up there I’m bringing a blanket and dressing in about 12 layers. My little guy had some great games though even in the cold! He even scored a hat trick in one of his three games.
We also made a stop at a local favorite for some lunch. Doug’s is amazing that is all. It’s not really the world’s most healthy choice but man it is delicious!
I also took the opportunity today get in an outside run….GASP! The sun was shining for a minute I didn’t know where I was. That is until the cold hit me and I remembered its February in Central New York! I took the chance to battle again with my Nemesis that crazy hill at mile 2 of my 3 and a half mile run. I love this run loop except for this stupid 300′ hill that kicks my butt. I’m determined to get this time under 35 minutes. Heck I’ve dropped it over 8 minutes since I started running it what’s another 3?!
I also dressed up like it was
5 year old Romper Room Valentine’s Day for the run. My very own Cupid’s Chase. Rocking some pinks and purples.
There it a quick recap of our weekend.
What I’m really excited for is this:
Question of the Day: How was your weekend?
