The hubs and I decided to have a great night in….knowing that today was going to be full of parties and events.
I went to the store to pick up some much-needed supplies. While browsing through the frozen goods section, I came across what can only be described as the best mash-up of ALL time! WINE ICE CREAM!
There were several different flavors and I was torn between this Red Raspberry Chardonnay and a Riesling. I should note if you are under 21 years old I’m sorry this delicious treat is NOT for you. It clearly states on the label that it contains 5% alcohol and can only be purchased and eaten by adults 21 years of age or older.
I rushed home to try my new treasure, there was just something about it that told me it was going to be amazing! WOW seriously Mercers you have out done yourself with these wonders. I’m a locavore at heart so when I saw these are produced in Booneville, NY I was even more excited about my new sweet find.
I was shocked by the color since I was expecting a much darker color. The light pink tint isn’t surprising though once to try the ice cream. It has a smooth and light almost frozen yogurt texture. It tastes just like black raspberry frozen yogurt.
Even my husband had seconds of this ice cream…that never happens! I give this my seal of approval. If you’re looking for a new sweet treat this is it.
Mercer’s Wine Ice Cream is available in the following varietals:
- Cherry Merlot
- Chocolate Cabernet
- Peach White Zinfandel
- Red Raspberry Chardonnay
Sunday Funday! Today was going to be a rest day from Bootcamp but since my schedule has been pretty erratic this week I’m making up a few workout from earlier.
After a 30 minute weight lifting session that had me sweatin’ dirty. I really kicked my own butt with this HIIT workout after. If you want to sweat a lot and know what your body is capable of I would suggest giving some thought to trying a HIIT workout. If you find yourself struggling at first you can always give yourself more rest in between each session. Of course I am not a certified fitness instructor nor am I a doctor. I am just sharing with you my workout and fitness experiences. Before beginning a new workout regiment it is always a good idea to consult with a doctor first.
What is your favorite sweet treat?
