Ahhh it’s the weekend!!
The best thing for me about weekends is getting up early Saturday morning and getting a great workout in before my kids wake up! I can mentally plan out the day in my head while I sweat out the stress of the week.
The other perk is obviously not needing to rush around getting ready for work. While constantly reminding my two little ones they need to get up and get dressed. Saturday’s we can lay around in our Jammie’s for a bit and enjoy what my oldest son calls mommy, daddy, Reece and Broc days. (the best days of the week!)
It always makes me laugh when I hear people without children say they are tired, you have NO idea what tired is until you have children. Taking care of yourself is relatively easy. Add to the equation small humans who rely on you for everything and you then can complain about being tired.
Today’s morning run was 3.51 miles. I’m still working on getting my miles up this month so I’ll get in an afternoon run as well. I’m still using the couch25k trainer so this was a mix of running and some brief break up walks.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Today I’m kickin it off with this super scrumptious omelet!
I’m going to need my energy tonight! We are going to a Hockey game and Syracuse plays Ohio St. At the same time! I will be taking multi tasking to a whole new level!! GOOOOO SU!!!
