Happy Friday Friends! After my success last month with the new Wantable Fitness Edit you know I was tracking my March package straight to my house for March. For a $20 styling fee you are sent 5 fitness pieces to try out and if you like buy.
Sadly I kind of knew right off the bat this month wasn’t going to be for me. The colors when I opened the box just weren’t my style. Muted spring colors.
While I LOVE colorful workout wear I normally opt for more neons and blacks.
I had made a few adjustments since my last edit. This time I requested capris and to not receive and undergarments (bras and things) or tops with built-in bras.
Michael was my stylist this time and was honest that they didn’t have capris that matched my style. No worries, let’s dive in and see what he had for me shall we?
So what DID I receive:
I actually really liked this sweatshirt, the Luxe Transition Hoodie. It was thick and comfortable but I would have liked it a size up. But since I’m coming into spring/summer now I’m trying to get these items out of my closet not into them. ($125)
The pants are Colosseum Perfect Fit training leggings. ($69) Again I don’t wear full length pants ever. These were comfortable and all but just not my style. There was some super cute details on the back pocket. Just NOT my style.
I should mention my socks were not part of this edit. I just happen to be wearing them for the pictures. I’m still nursing my foot
I think my face sort of says it all in these pictures and thank you to my 5-year-old photographer/Son Broc.
This top is the Climawear Caged Running Tee ($39) This top was really light and I’m sure would be great for biking in the summer but I just didn’t like it on me at all. The design is flattering but I seriously felt like my boobs didn’t quite fit in the proper places at all. And again these are the same Leggings from above.
Now this might get a little TMI for some but if you’re cool, I’m cool. Below I am wearing the Aurora Space Dye Tank (with a built-in bra, $39) and Climawear Ultimate Waist Control Shorts ($30).
There was NO good angle for me on these shorts, they just gave me a raging camel toe from every angle. I know there are ways to fix that but I just couldn’t figure these shorts out.
My son perfectly captured my confusion in this blurry yet most truthful shot:
I had absolutely NO idea what to do with the top of these shorts. I understand they are designed to fold over and be flattering but the former pregnant women in me saw this and instantly flashed back to maternity jeans and knew these shorts were a no go.
So what did I keep? I only kept one thing and that was mostly just to keep my styling fee. I ended up keeping the Aurora Space Dye Tank. It was comfortable and even though it has a bra built it, it wasn’t super tight so I would be able to wear another bra underneath it.
Although this month wasn’t the home run my first month was I was happy they listened and gave me less expensive options as well as colors. Fingers crossed for next month! Want to get your first Wantable Fitness Edit? You can learn more here.
Question of the Day: What would you have kept?
