I hope you and your families had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Mine was perfect. Lots of food, family, fun and laughter!
Have you entered the $25 Visa gift Card giveaway I’m hosting? Who can’t use some extra holiday cash, it’s my thank you to you!
I really didn’t take any pictures yesterday. It was a fun and relaxing day. The turkey was delicious, I brought some Brussel sprouts and we finished off the night with a competitive game of Texas Hold ’em. After knocking off the rest of the family it came down to a heads up match between me and my husband. Sadly I made a critical error while bluffing my butt off and ended up losing to him.
My husband and I really don’t play poker much these days. In our early dating lives we played in an almost regular Friday night no limit club. It was awesome! It was especially awesome on the nights that one of us would win! I had no idea prior to those days that I had any type of poker skills. After my first win where I knocked out some fairly serious dudes, I discovered my skills! I am excellent at calling bluffs. I’m hopeful I will still have such good detection for utter crap when my boys reach those teenage years, it could come in handy!
Want to know what’s not bluffing today? Black Friday Sales.
I stayed up till 11:30pm to take in some Midnight shopping! I wish again I had photos but in the excitement of the moment I left my phone and camera at home! I did witness one verbal altercation between two women, and offended one when I explained the “deal” isn’t really a deal when the outlet sells them for the same price EVERYDAY. Apparently that is NOT what a 1AM shopper with a grocery list of items to buy wants to hear.
Overall I killed it with some pretty sweet gifts for family members and some new leggings for me! I would show you the loot but I can’t risk sharing a secret gift. Let’s just say I got what I wanted and had some laughs along the way. Also the Loft sales are crazy today!
What I’m most excited for today is a nap. AND a ladies night with these pretty girls! It’s been a while since we’ve all hung out! I can’t wait to catch up at an adult function with adult beverages sans the husband and kids!
Question of the Day: How do you celebrate the day after Thanksgiving?
