Happy Saturday! Yesterday ended up being an unexpected day off from blogging. My BFF came to visit and we took a trip out to the local outlets and I have to say I got some FABULOUS deals! If you are in the mood for shopping today and you like The Loft almost everything in the store was 40% off AND they have cute cardigans buy 1 get 2 FREE. Great deals, if you need some cute fall digs.I also picked up some super cute workout clothes at Under Armour.
Yesterday I also tried my hand at some fabulous Buffalo Cauliflower from the The Curvey Carrot. I have to say it was an excellent way to curb the desire to eat wings! A great vegetarian meal. The recipe was really easy and I promise totally worth making! I would venture to say they may be the best non-wing hot wing I’ve ever had. Dipped in a touch of blue cheese I didn’t even miss the meat. They make a perfect game time treat. Head on over here for the full recipe.
Yesterday called for a run and unfortunately it didn’t happen. The day just got away from me. Instead the foam roller and I had a 20 minute pain session. It’s the good kind of hurt but even still I think sometimes my youngest is worried I’m hurting myself while I do it! My poor sweet little guy will always ask “You ok momma?”
Today thus far has been a whirlwind my son had both Soccer and Hockey practices before 11am today which makes it a fast-moving morning! Special Thank you to Wegmans for the Sushi lunch, they have the best sushi. I got the spicy Tuna and California rolls while the hubs got a new BBQ shrimp roll, spicy shrimp and these:
I love Sushi. When it’s offered I’m always game. I even have some left overs for later. While at Wegmans I also picked up a new bag of these Power Snacks. I received these a few months ago from my foodie pen pal and have been addicted ever since.
Today’s workout called for Body Pump but my son’s schedule blew that option up. I’m modifying and getting in one long run today to make up for yesterday and today! On that note I’m off, Happy Saturday! How are you moving today?
