This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of No nonsense for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Let’s talk style! Style can mean a million different things to a million different people. I personally believe style is what you do with what you have.
In my everyday life other than workout clothes, my style is classic simple. I love a great black t-shirt and some cozy jeans. You can dress it up, you can dress it down and it allows me to chase down my children in public without looking a hot mess! I’m also a big fan of bold color. My brother-in-law would describe my style as “themed” and has still not let me live down this outfit which earned the a “oui-oui” answer to every question for the entire evening. Sorry brother-in-law that outfit rocked, a red scarf with a black and white stripped shirt is apparently french? But so my style.
I’ll be the first to admit though one style I had yet to jump on to has been leggings. I see other girls rocking them and love the look. But I was scared of what leggings would look like on me. I’m not a size 2 you know.
Fear not…when I was contacted to review No nonsense tights and leggings I was nervous but secretly excited to try them out. I’d been eying from afar but had yet to pull the trigger.
Upon arrival two things became VERY clear!
- Color and I love COLOR the brighter the better.
- I was wrong to avoid leggings. They are the BEST invention ever.
Check it! On these citrine color opaque control top tights. Talk about getting value for your money, after wearing these tights to endless compliments I decided to get a another pair for myself. I found No nonsense tights and leggings at my drug store. And once I knew what I was looking for I’m seeing them everywhere. My grocery store even had them…great for a gal on the run like myself!
I’m always looking for new ways to add value to my wardrobe and these tights in a variety of colors have done the trick for me. I live in upstate New York, it is cold here 10 months out of the year. Ok that MIGHT be a slight exaggeration but not much of a stretch. The worst part of living here is having to put away cute work dresses and skirts until the weather changes back to spring/summer.
With No nonsense tights I can simply freshen up a summer look for a winter WOW!
This is one of my favorite dresses! Pattern, black and white it screams me, the problem is what to do in the fall and winter with it? Problem solved thanks to No nonsense. I simply added citrine tights tall black boots and I’m ready to rock it!
This is another favorite of mine. Block hues turned winter wonder wear! The shirt looks black but it’s a deep blue and really compliments the citrine hue of the tights for a cute and funky day in the office.

I also was excited to learn that No nonsense is teaming up with Jill Martin! You may know Jill from the Today Show or her New York Times Best Seller “I Have Nothing to Wear”. She is a very well-known fashion expert who is teaming up with No nonsense as a Brand Ambassador. She is offering fashion tips on twitter (@benononsense) and there is even a No nonsense on Facebook contest to win a day with her! Give them a like after all who couldn’t use a day with a best-selling stylist?
I’m quite sad that I didn’t jump on the No nonsense train earlier. They are stylish affordable and very modern. I went from scared outsider to fashion fierce in just 3 outfits! My style is ever evolving but I love the flexibility that No nonsense has provided my entire wardrobe. I’m now wearing styles year round rather than just in the summer months which makes them an affordable must have in every woman’s closet. A pop of fun color 365 days a year!

The first picture looks like you are just wearing skinny jeans! I love that! I, however, am still petrified to wear leggings. Most likely due to the 3 baby belly pooch that has hung around, and makes me self conscious.
**Oh, the tea came today! I’m so excited to try them. Thanks again
**
Amanda you have no idea I also suffer from pooch belly, and that was my biggest fear was looking like I was wearing sweat pants. I was shocked at the great coverage, with a slightly longer shirt they really do look like skinny jeans and are so comfy. I also like that I can wear them underneath dresses and get more of a layered look. Enjoy the tea
They (and you) look great! Love all the color.
