Wordless Wednesday…nope I’ve got to much to share! First of all how are you guys doing? You’ve made it to the hump of the week, now is the time to be determined to finish STRONG.
Let’s rewind to dinner last night. I made my famous lighter version of Chili’s Southwest Egg Rolls and I kid you not my husband actually said to me it was the best meal I’ve ever cooked! Yeah me!

I like to think it was due to this fabulous corn relish.
I kicked things off this morning with this beautiful breakfast packed with protein. And an iced coffee which is odd considering it was only 30 degrees out this morning. But hey, the body wants, what they body wants! The rest is very simple I toast an English Muffin and top with cottage cheese and a touch of grape jelly. Delicious and pretty in an odd way.
After my morning routine of work and emails. I headed out the gym ran a 5k on the treadmill and lifted weights for 25 minutes after. Today was a focus on arms and back. Sitting at my computer lately I have been horrible with my posture. I used the rowing machine for a few extra sets today to strengthen those back muscles that help the core and posture.
I’m also breaking out my trusty ball under my desk move. If you want to try its very simple get a ball. Your children’s play ball or really any ball will do and balance your feet on it while you work. At first it’s a concentration nightmare but once you get used to it your body will begin to engage your core and your posture and position in the chair will improve since it’s much harder to balance all hunched over.
So for the rest of the week my schedule looks like this:
Thursday: SPIN + Weights
Friday: Re-attempt Cupcake Classic 5k
I was also pretty excited today to see a Spa in my town is now carrying my favorite tea…who says Facebook advertising doesn’t work! 😉 Tea Forte Cucumber Mint. Have you had this stuff? It is amazing. All through Facebook this transaction was set up and all I had to do was pick it up! I love social media.
