Before the running the Boilermaker this weekend, first I had to attend a party for this strappin’ lad.
After years of traveling back and forth there for work from tie to time, my baby brother has accepted a position in China for the next three years. Hense the shirt, as if anyone would question it?
It was a day of food and family held at my favorite place on Earth. My parents camp. It’s so quiet and peaceful there. Almost like you’re a million miles away from the world and yet to you can still see houses off in the distance. LOVE IT!
Little man took in some bear riding!
And I got to say hello and snuggle on my new nephew baby Q! Yes he’s attending his first party one day two of life!
I also tasted the BEST burger I have ever had in my life! I swear it doesn’t look like much but it was peppery and sweet at the same time. I’m told it was a pre-made burger from the Croghan meat market. Delicious…..and everyone was raving!
Oh and I also finally found a place to wear my snufflin’ shirt! With my BFF!
Goodbye and Best of Luck to these crazy kids in China! We will miss you terribly!
As if that wasn’t enough in a day….then we drove 3 more hours in the car to say CONGRATULATIONS to Kim & Dan!
The beautiful bride who was not longer wearing her dress when we arrived. And her new husband, who I never did get a picture of!
Kimmy’s Kiss was a custom made beer for the wedding!
And after refreshments there was PLENTY of this:
I had a 5AM wake up call Sunday Morning for the Boilermaker that I wasn’t sure I was going to make! We left this festival at 11:30PM and after traveling/parting all day I was pooped!
How was your weekend?
