Saturday Shots

in life

My new camera arrived and I’ve been playing around with it. It only took me FOREVER to figure out how to turn the screen on and how to make it autofocus. So you could say we are getting serious ;)

New Camera

I never knew a camera could make me feel dumb with technology but I have sooooo much to learn. I’ve snapping pictures of everything. Kids, dogs, flowers my garden you name it I have 300 out of focus photos of it ;)

I finally made it to the pool. It was a great stress relief. 1,900 meters of water beating, cardio was just I needed. Plus I got to wear my new suit which made it motivating.

I forgot what an ab workout swimming is on the way home I was like WOW my sides are sore. I also like how the lighting in the locker room makes my arms look HUGE, I promise you this photo is deceiving.

I picked up this cute summery sweater from Target this week. I have an orange and white one I love so I decided I needed a green one was well.  I still need to figure out this camera for static shots. It’s progress.

Bella and I have been enjoying random photo shoots. She rather enjoys the attention since we’ve been pretty distracted with other things.

I love my Canon! My first thought is taking pics of my kids but then I remembered as teenagers that have little to no patience or tolerance for my photo taking haha! Food. Definitely food :)

Nice! A “legit” camera has been on my wish list for a while now, but I have no patience for, like, learning things. I’m terrified of spending the benjamin’s on a nice model and treating it like a point-and-shoot. It would be a waste of potential!

I like taking pictures of Squish, but the always turn out either in a toddler blur of furious activity or looking like I just took candy away from home because he sees me taking pictures of him with my phone, and he wants my phone.

Emily it’s actually pretty good for quick on the fly pictures. I’ve discovered I can almost catch my monkeys in motion. I caught this bad boy on ebay for cheap it’s barely used. But a lot less than a new one! As for learning more about it, oh ghesh. I’m not picking this up quickly. Now I just take pictures of everything to see what they look like!

That is awesome that you got a fancy new camera! I am not sure I would have any idea how to use it either- my iPhone still confuses me! Great pic of your puppy, he is adorable!

Crazy huge cameras like that intimidate me so much! I took a photography class a long long time ago and we talked F-Stop and Shutter Speed, etc, etc… Do I remember any of that now? NOPE. iPhone photos it is! LOL!
