Happy Hump Day readers! Hope Wednesday is treating you well!
Did you know today is National Tell a Lie day? I’m not sure that’s a necessary event to be celebrated but in any case…. I’m moving to Nebraska.
My morning started with this killer arm workout from Samantha who writes at Running and Cupcakes! And my shoulders are on fire(!!) and it was only the day ONE version. Since I was at home and do not have an incline bench in my house (it’s in the garage!) I simple modified those to some various curls.
It’s a great workout for a busy person looking to tone up:
I am currently obsessed with Brussel Spouts a food I have hated for most of my life. I’m not sure If I’m in desperate need of iron or what is happening. My body just can’t get enough of these green beauties.
I have been working on different varieties and variations of recipes for them. I have to make them appealing to my husband which is the hardest part of any meal. This is the man who opens the fridge to yell “did you buy anything other than vegetables, what are the rest of us going to eat?” I love him but he’s a meat, seafood and potato kinda guy. So while I love a great crazy salad he’ll pass.
My latest creation has been a big hit with him and some other
unwilling test subjects I’ve tried it out on.
And although I know it doesn’t look like the world’s my appetizing side, the taste is to die for!
