I get the most amount of “work” done when I am procrastinating on work I should be doing.
For example this week is mad with work projects and things that probably should have been done over the weekend. Instead I went to the outlets.
Look at my loot!!
I was pretty excited since all of this but a $15 purchase at Old Navy was bought with gift cards and store credits!!
Under Armour Outlet: I got two new running tops the blue stripped in the pink stripped I’m wearing in the photo! LOVE THEM.I had my eye on a new sports bra but ended up passing on it as my son was booking it out the door without me!
Reebok Outlet: Got a new black hoodie for $14!!! And a pink/coral top not pictured. I was really hoping to see the Reebok PWR Legging – Print but they were not to be found.
Loft Outlet: 40% OFF sale!! The best time of the year to shop! I got shorts (2 sizes smaller than normal ) buy one get one, a cute purple skirt on clearance and a blue and white stripped shirt. That’s my third stripped shirt if you are keeping track at home.
Old Navy Outlet: $15 for another pair of their awesome workout capris. I love my other two pairs and for fifteen dollars I know I will get my money worth. These are stripped (I think I have a problem) grey and black, but look black in the photo. I also grabbed some super cute tank tops for $4 a piece sadly they didn’t make the photos either.
It was a welcome break even though my youngest had a mini-melt down in the last store of the day…that was my cue it was time to go. I never made it to a few stores I wanted to hit but was excited to find the deals I did. It’s been a long time since I went shopping just for me! Again getting some “work” done while putting off other work.
I’ve also had time to clear off my desk, prep my social media week, prep for meetings among many other real work things all while putting off a deadline. I took my P90X class and went for a run.
I’m craving whole 30 meals, I’m also procrastinating again so my interest in “projects” gets much higher when there are other things I should be doing.
A few months ago I made a Spaghetti Squash with Chicken meal and tonight I went full Spaghetti, Spaghetti Squash! If you are what you eat this month I’m turning into a spaghetti squash.
The meat sauce was pretty quick just brown ground beef, I saute mine in garlic, green peppers and onions. Then add an organic tomato sauce.
The best part of this meal though was the green beans! I had the JOY of cooking with coconut aminos tonight and all I’m thinking about now are the brussel sprouts I plan to make tomorrow with them.
Sautéed Green Beans:
- 1/2 pound green beans snipped
- 1 small onion diced
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 3 tablespoons coconut aminos
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (NOT EVOO)
- Salt/Pepper to taste
- Heat pan over medium heat add olive oil, onion and garlic.
- Saute until onions are clear
- Add green beans cook 3-4 minutes
- Add coconut aminos and cook and additional 2-3 minutes
- Remove from heat, serve warm
- *Optional add almond slivers
I can not get over the fact I have never tried aminos before. It’s like the flavor of Soy Sauce without the salt! My brain is busy with ideas for how else to use these babies!
So as my Fit Bloggin presentation sits waiting for me to get it finished this is how I have been procrastinating. Laura I promise it’s coming!
Time to get some focus and finish strong!
Tomorrow I have an awesome giveaway coming your way…hint, hint
Question of the day: What is your favorite way to procrastinate? Do you procrastinate?
