Woot, Woot Week 1 DOWN!
This week for me was a bit all over the place. Now that I teach my own classes. Finding classes that work for both my schedules has been a little more challenging. Luckily there are a lot of group classes to choose from and I got in my 3 classes this week with the help of the Sunday mix up class. What I like about this class is some of it is on your own. 2 days of cardio, a rest day and one Yoga day.
Also side note did you know September is YOGA MONTH? In case you want to celebrate, the new lululemon athletica is offering Free in-store Yoga class Saturday mornings at 10am! It’s a great way to kick off your day! There may be other similar events this month at area yoga studios as well, always ask!
Here is how week 1 of P90X worked out for me:
Monday: 1 hour P90X Group class, with a one mile cool down.
Tuesday: 5K, foam rolling (damn you hip)
Wednesday: P90X Group Class
Thursday: Taught Spin, Plank workout = kind of rest day?
Friday: 5k, Kickboxing/Bootcamp 1 hour class
Sunday: Group P90X class
After checking out this picture my goal is to work on my posture during these classes. I’m much stronger than I was the first time around. I even had to up those Blue weights to Orange since they were too light! Small successes make me smile!
First week so far so good! Today I’m going to an afternoon, grab bag class! Should be fun!
I’m always a HOTMESS after these classes and Wednesday night my schedule was about as tight as it could get. I literally RAN just like this to my son’s school open house! I apologize to any parents who had to sit next to me 😉
