Welcome to Wednesday folks! Mine was insane with meetings, deadlines, and fun…such is the life of freelance mommy I suppose. Get ready! Today I am doing my very first WHAT I ATE WEDNESDAY! Basically I’m going to show you all the caloretic (is that a word?) wonders I found to eat on this Wednesday.
Breakfast: A delicious slice of heaven and even more amazing iced coffee of my own creation. English muffin toasted topped with low-fat cottage cheese and a dollop of
daisy grape jelly. Iced coffee with Coffee-Mate Natural Bliss: Sweet Cream, on ice.
Lunch: A BBQ burger not the healthiest option but I rarely make burgers. When I go out for lunch, which is rare, I save the room! My lunch was a business meeting with an old friend. So I hope he didn’t mind watching me shove this meaty wonder in my mouth! (I didn’t get a picture of it but this photo is about right!)
Dinner: Make it your own pizza. Please note the child “half” all cheese and the adult “half”. The adult half was made from left over chicken from the grill last night, fresh mozzarella cheese and tomatoes fresh from my garden! AH-MAZ-ING!
I was on the run… meetings, meetings and more meetings not that I mind. I’ve never considered being busy a bad thing. But I think it showed up in my eating patterns for the day. No snacks…no breaks…no nothings.
Today’s workout was a fun combination of strength and cardio courtesy of my sister-in-law. A few folks met at a park near my house and for a half hour did a combination of planks, jumping squats, circuits, dips and uphill sprints. It was a good burn. I’m curious to see how sore my arms will be tomorrow. My legs are already a little tight. LOVE THE BURN!
I can’t wait to share with you my July Birchbox …I hate to say it but this month may be my FAVORITE one yet!
