Calculating goals and numbers are strange little motivators. I love this pinterest image because it is VERY true. At the beginning of a fitness journey it seems impossible but then at some point you hit your stride and it all seems to come together. Mind you my struggle has been going on longer than 12 weeks. But I’ve really been stepping up my game and pushing out of comfort zone these past few months to force the change I want to see. And for my purposes it’s working.
My workouts are more varied and my diet is significantly cleaner. I’m starting to see results and others are starting to see my results. It makes me happy but also begins a slippery slope of maybe I don’t need to do as much. This is where my brain gets lazy! Folks we have results…nothing to see here. I feel like Oprah I’m all giddy with results but you know it might not last long. That’s why this time around I’m determined to make it STICK!
So far so good:
My goals for March are simple. Keep it fun, keep moving and continue with the plan.
March will be fun I have my first official half marathon of the year (#13for2013) and some other fun races coming up as well as the final leg of the CuseFIT2013 series.
Question of the Day: We are almost 3 months into 2013 how are you coming with your goals?
