I have no idea where this week has gone. It’s Friday again already? Not that I’m complaining but “short” weeks sometimes to me just feel like a big waste. Plus my son being home from school two days this week has my entire schedule off. This post is a bit on the crazy tangent side. Saddle up for some fun!
First are you the winner in my Thirty-One Fold n Go Organizer Giveaway? The winner has been posted! Thank you to all who entered!
Second I’m a sucker for fun and affordable active wear. I really cringe at the idea of paying $80+ for running tights. I know that they would be amazing but…I just can’t. So when I feel in LOVE with these bright pink old navy pants I was ecstatic to see they were on sale for just $15!
Sadly I couldn’t find a pink pair in my size or in any size for that matter. I called Old Navy customer service along with the 10 closest stores to inquire about them
and they didn’t call me crazy once. But they did offer the purple as a comparable solution.
I have been stalking my mailman for days waiting for them to arrive and yesterday to my door appeared these beauties!
And check out that cute top with the fringe back! Just $12 at Marshall’s. If you follow me on Instagram you already know about my other amazing find at Marshall’s. I picked up my 5th pair of Reebok Real Flex sneakers for just $39! I love these shoes. Light, comfy and easy on the eyes. Just not great on long runs, but other than that I use them for EVERYTHING.
Third feeling all PUMPED up about my new clothes I tackled this fun little workout. It was KICKING MY BUTT. I used 45# for the row machine, 20# for the bench press and 16# for the squats. I finished my first mile in 8:55, second in 9:16 and third in 10:20. That third mile should have been much faster but I was pooped.
Fourth I took in the newest offering from Lean Cuisine this week. The southwest salad additions were on sale at my local grocer, I had a coupon too so I decided to try it. I have to say it was pretty good but the sodium level in it was off the charts! 590 mg that’s 25% your daily in take. In the future I would skip the dressing since I’m pretty sure that’s where more of it came from.
I like to make my own dressings. Next time I would just skip their dressing entirely which somewhat defeats the purpose of the “additions”. Has anyone else tried these? What did you think?
Question of the Day: Where do you find/buy the best workout gear?
