Rise and Grind!
This morning I kicked my day off with a quick twenty-minute sculpt video from ONDemand and some coffee. I often wonder about people who don’t drink coffee what their morning ritual is like. Do they drink water? Do they drink *gasp* soda? I don’t remember a time in my adult life when I didn’t wake up with a coffee. Sometimes I think about trying it for a week.
But honestly what would I do with myself in the morning? My cup of coffee is my brain time, my time to plan and get it together for the day. I always think it’s funny how we train ourselves to do certain activities together and how hard it is to break those habits. The human mind is amazing. I’m trying to give myself some new healthy habits. I’m really into walking on my lunch break. The days it’s raining or I don’t have time to walk I notice a big change in personality. It feels good to get my heart pumping and get those endorphins in my system. Sometimes I think it’s the only way I survive my job! The saying you’re just one workout away from a great mood is so true!
