After the heavy of the weekend. I need some rainbows and sunshine and you could probably use some too!
I hope all of your weekends were fabulous! I especially hope all my Tipp Hill Runners had some personal bests! Sorry I wasn’t there with all of you, but if you are ever in Syracuse for this race DO IT it is a fun one!
My brother and I used to run it together every year here’s an after picture from our 2010 race, in our best black outfits for the Irish event. A hilly yet quick 4 miles, a great prep for the Mountain Goat!
Workout Today: None & no mention of any either. Today is a much-needed mental and physical day off. I walked around the block for some air and I think that was all I had in me for the today.
ST. PATRICK’S DAY is this week!! And I’m Irish so I’m hoping to bring some luck back into my life!
I’m not a huge fan of traditional Irish food, no corned beef for me and I’ll skip the bangers and mash as well. But if it is sweet and looks to be Irish this month, I will try it! Plus who needs to fill their belly with food when there is Guinness and Green Beer! I’m kidding I’m not a total lush!
But here are some Irish themed goodies I am going to try to whip up this week:
Green CAKE BALLS…umm YES PLEASE.
Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes?? How could that be a bad idea?
Then there is this Sweat Shirt that is just too PERFECT! It just made my most desired list! I love comfy zip ups, and it’s perfect for those chilly spring days in March:
So that’s my list of yummy wonderfulness ( I will make this a word!) I want to make this week for St.Patrick’s Day Saturday! Happy March 17th!!
What are you making this week? Any big plans for St. Pat’s? Best most discussed question: Must you be Irish you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day??
