June has arrived and I’m jubilant to see it. May was a crazy month around here and one I’m happy to have closed the door on.
May started off on a bad foot, but lead to me joining a new fitness family. Who I’m really excited to be a part of! They helped me master some new moves that previously I was unable to achieve. I’m forever thankful to them for the support and enthusiasm they bring to each workout!
I’m slowly but surely hitting my fitness groove. I’ve got some new class reviews coming up for June!
finally. And I’m excited about some new opportunities both in my personal life and professional life that came my way this month. More news on those later. Let’s all get one thing clear though…there are no more Benda babies at least not right now. I had the opportunity to meet many amazing bloggers and fitness fans in May at the Fitness Magazine meet and tweet, I can’t wait to head back next year!
May taught me that I have no business trying to make sweet potato chips. After 3 attempts I still have not mastered the art of baking these delicious slices of heaven.
I completed my first ever round of WHOLE30 and discovered I didn’t really miss sugar and processed food that much. My diet with a few exceptions here and there has been mostly paleo since my completion.
I found my inner warrior and pushed on through a rather challenging month:
P90X has been helping me get stronger and better at leaving it all on the floor. Quite literally:
I’m also becoming better and better friends with my exercise ball!
May was a learning month for me…Now for June, I’m actually making goals!
- Boilermaker is coming up quick! I need to get my mileage back up to par! So running will be a priority this month.
- Enjoy my oldest son’s birthday party…my first baby is turning 6?! That is not possible!
- Rock my Virtual Half Marathon, a long with a bunch of 5ks and 8k’s I’ve signed up for.
- Keep sticking it to P90X!
- I’m trying a Raw Foods Class so some new foods should be in the mix
- Add 3 more classes to the #cuseFIT2013 Series
Question of the Day: What goals are you planning to CRUSH this month? Have any exciting plans?
