A conversation broke our among my family not too long ago about what we would do it we won the lottery. I know it’s always the career discovery question. If you won the lottery how would you spend your time if money wasn’t an object? I’ve never been good at picking out a clear answer. Before getting married and having kids my answer was always set up my family for life and move to a deserted island far away from the world. Of course that island would need a library, gym, and a Cold Stone Creamery but other than deserted
The answers from my family were fabulous and not at all what I would expect! My dad wanted to have a new pair of socks to wear everyday since new socks always feel so much more comfortable than washed socks. I have to agree though once he mentioned it I do like new socks wayyyyy better than my old socks. Feet Rejoice if my dad wins it’s new socks for all!
My husband wants a go-kart track with really small cars to drive for hours a day. My son of course wants his own hockey rink with access to players at all times.
Since I started blogging, I have to say I think this is how I would spend time. I would write about great workouts and sweat for hours a day. I would try crazy foods from exotic places and share the experience in words. I would go nuts in the kitchen creating culinary wonders for friends and family.
I believe the chances are winning are still less than getting struck by lightning while in your house standing by running water, but hey it could happen 😉
Breakfast this morning was a fun mix with the kids since the hubs is working some overtime!
Some fresh fruit, Chia seeds (ground), Chobani Vanilla Greek Yogurt, and Crunchy Nut Cereal.
This Crunchy Nut Cereal is pretty tasty, it’s like honey nut Cheerios on an extra crunch kick! It doesn’t get soggy super fast. There is nothing worse to me than mushy cereal, give me some CRUNCH!
Workout today, 20 minute weights workout focusing on back/arms. I added in some row movements from Joy’s blog post, and got in a 3.5 mile rainy run! The best news is that today for the first time in a month I was able to reserve a spin bike for the Sunday morning class!! I love spin classes. I love the difficulty and the thrill of the class ending. I haven’t been to a spin class in at least 2 months so I’m giddy that tomorrow worked out! Hear that body? That’s the sound of fat crying
What would you do it you won the lottery?
