Happy twelve twelve twelve! I saw on the news lots of couples were getting married and having babies today. I think they have great taste the hubs and I are both December 22nd babies and we got married on December 23rd making this month, not only a holiday month but also a crazy month for our families and loved ones!
I mean look at these pretty Capricorn faces…this was our anniversary dinner last year. I think the hubs has something planned for this year since my mother in law keeps asking me what weekend she needs to watch the kids…like I should know something 😉
This morning I kicked off the day with a 5 mile run/walk with intervals. The first 3 miles felt great! I love those runs where your stride is on, your legs are feeling no pain and your tunes are jamin’! Sadly it wasn’t meant to last. Mile 4 and 5 were sad. I turned to intervals to just keep going. I hate when a run ends on a sad note. But the miles are clocked so I’m calling it a victory! I was reading all about you crazy people running 12 miles today, God Bless You!
After the run I needed to pack breakfast with veggies. I made a spinach, red pepper, milk, ice, a touch of honey and a big scoop of vanilla protein powder shake. This was an experiment that kind of failed. I pounded it for the nutrients but I think it was missing something. It wasn’t the most delicious smoothie I’ve ever had.
The elf for health challenge of the day is to eat as many veggies as you can BEFORE dinner. My lunch salad should complete the challenge for me
Yesterday my December IPSY bag came and again I’m impressed the bombshell lip gloss is great! The grey satin bag was super cute as well. Tt has a red lining that has the IPSY logo on it.
Tonight is an exciting evening! I’m catching up with my old work crew and I can’t even begin to tell you the last time we were all together. It was my first job right out of college and they became like a family to me. I moved right after college to a city where I knew basically no one. Our work crew was amazing and made me feel right at home. The hardest part in leaving that job was missing all the fabulous people. And not seeing them everyday was horrible. Luckily we all still keep in touch and tonight is a mini reunion!
In other news the flu is swirling around my household….so far only the husband has fallen prey. Maybe flu shots do work?
While recovering today from his flu bought and we have been enjoying a show called impractical jokers on demand. Have you seen it? I’ve never seen it before but I’m pretty sure it’s been giving me a belly laugh ab workout all afternoon!
I guess that’s one way to make 12/12/12 epic
Question of the day: what’s your favorite funny show?
