And then it happened…My Sister-in-law kicked my butt!

I love my sister-in-law Holly who has become one of my best friends since I married her brother many years ago! She teaches various classes including Spin, Will Power & Grace and Pilates.  We walk a few times a week together, we catch up and get in a workout it’s a win-win! :)

She has always been in incredible shape even after having 4 children (I’m very envious!) don’t get me wrong me though she works for it! As is the case,  anything worth having doesn’t comes easy and I admire her willpower!

While on our walk yesterday we were talking about Tabata  and H-I-I-T ( High intensity interval training) classes. I mentioned I really want to find a class to take close to home.  Turns out she has been talking about putting one together! Especially since she has already been incorporating the intervals in her classes! Sweet!!

These workouts are great for fat burning! They are quick bursts of speed workouts with short rest periods in between.

After our walk I decided to try out a quick circuit with her! Oooooohhhhh WOW this body of mine was not quite ready for the intensity that is HIIT! That being said though this will become my new morning workout! It’s a BURN, but a good burn!

Here is the Workout we did:

HIIT WORKOUT, TABATA

And here are the movements:

Jumping Squats:

Chair Dips:

Bicycle Crunches:

Mountain Climbers:

Arm Punches/Jabs:

I couldn’t find a photo. You want to bend your arms as if punching your self in the face. Keep your elbows close to your body and jab straight up and down as quickly as you can. Keeping your body and hips still.
I’m obssessed now with these workouts! My arms are killing me even from these first dips let’s be honest my arms are in need of some work.  I can’t wait to see some progress with this new workout!

Thanks Tiffany! No money yet from foodbuzz just a publishers there. Wordpress won’t allow you to make $$ with ad networks until you are no longer using a .wordpress page.
