When I get nervous, I get the wiggles. No I don’t get those weird characters on the children’s show of the same name. But I get an anxious energy. I find it hard to focus and give my full attention to things. This week has been a struggle to get the wiggles out. I landed a rather large new client this week and I have serious wiggles about it. I’m also diving into some new areas for this blog that are also giving me some nerves.
I want to run and scream but I’m not sure that’s productive, or is it? Want to help some great causes as a runner?
Download the RUN 4 GOOD App for Iphone. Clock your miles and Saucony and their partners double their donation if they reach 10,000 miles clocked by the end of September. For the rest of the month I am rockin’ with the Run 4 Good App.
For the month of September, that goal is 10,000 miles and Saucony has pledged aid to:
- The American Diabetes Association: the ADA New England Run For Your Life! pilot program will promote lifestyle changes in overweight youth through running and jogging
- Chicago Run: a non-profit that provides free running programs for the youth of Chicago in tandem with nutrition and digital learning and cross-community collaboration
- The 4 Life Foundation: a running program that emPOWERS youth by “igniting self-love, fearless confidence, & character”
These are great causes that could use your running miles! What a great way to get out my wiggles and help those who need it.
I’m also turning to Yoga for relaxation. I’ve already seen some of the positive effects of Yoga on my running abilities and now I’m harnessing even more of the breathing styles to get over this little burst of nerves I’m faced with.
I adore this move it makes me feel for a hot second like I have wash board abs. Does anyone know what this is called?
How do you get your wiggles out?
