Happy Friday Friends! I hope you’re rocking a new month and all the goals that come with the new month. I’m rocking my almost 5th round of #whole30 so I’m trying to distract myself from the lack of sugar in my life using any means possible. We are moving this month so that should be an interesting adventure as well. Here are all the things that are rocking my world this week:
Yeah I said it, I’m digging crocs. If you follow me on instagram you know I shared my love of my new crocs with the world. It felt as weird as it sounds…but these babies are super cute and comfy. They can go in the water and out of the water and are pretty stylish? I think, I hope. Oh God I’m officially an uncool mom rocking crocs…it’s happening.
I used the Ellie service years ago and it was a complete and udder nightmare. They took my money and provided NO products and did it for months in a row. I actually had to cancel my credit card over it, when I say it was a nightmare I might be understating the issues. So when the new version of Ellie with new owners and a completely different model was announced I wasn’t the first one in line for the layout. But for the past two months I’ve been enjoying their new style service:
The new styles are super cute and for $49.99 a month for a box with 5 workout items I can’t find better deals anywhere. My only complaint would be as a lady with a rather large chest, I wish they offered a more supportive sports bra in each box. Strappy are cute but I can’t workout in them…I don’t need two unexplained black eyes!
Normally I don’t take sides in celebrity beefs but this one is my new favorite: Katy Vs. Taylor. And this song is rocking my current summer sweat lists:
Swish Swish…Bish… it’s catchy and contagious which also scores big on my summer workout playlists.
Ride and Run:
It’s time to rock this 5k race again on June 24th! It’s for a great cause and is a completely flat course. If you’re local and haven’t signed up yet come on out and join me for this fantastic 5k. Actually I’ve got a few 5ks coming up this month the Corporate Challenge is also on the book s for next week.
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve rocked my TRX straps but I swear each and every time I bust them out they kick my butt. And trust me trying to get myself back in shape after a lull adds to the full on pain of TRX. It’s such a great workout for over all strength, your core is always working to stabilize you even if you’re not working the core specifically. If you’ve got straps of a gym with access check out this quick 15 minute workouts that will kick ya booty.
I finally made it back to the gym near our current house for TRX class last night. It reminded me how much I miss my straps ( they are currently in storage for moving) hopefully once the weather gets a little nicer and the move is complete I can get you a killer outdoor TRX workout.
Question of the Day: What are you digging this week? Also is Katy Perry slowly turning into Miley Cyrus? Discuss:
