Holy Moley it’s been a productive morning/early afternoon. I got tons of work completed this morning, got a workout in, and ran a bunch of errands. It’s been a busy one. I kicked off my morning with a wake up call from my mother-in-law…Opps it may have been a later than planned start 😉 I love when my phone goes dead in the night. My iphone I think is on its last life. It keeps dropping calls, muting in the middle of calls and the battery life is less that great. I went to bed at 20% that should be more than enough battery for 8 hours of little to no use. Apparently it’s not anymore. And yes I know all the tricks I turn off apps and all that loveliness but I think it may be time to say goodbye to White 4 for a Black 5!
After getting my son off to school…there was a plank of the day to get in. Almost 1 minute for day #1. I’ve been seeing lots of people doing the plank of the day challenge. Each day you time your plank and try to beat your time from the day before. It sounds easy enough…after holding this front plank for 52 seconds I’m in for a long month.
My morning workout was a quick one. With a bunch of jumping squats that are killing my butt! I’m calling it my no gym no problem at home workout. I’m shooting for an evening run tonight but there was no time for a run this morning!
After working up a sweat. I was starving and nothing I normally eat was looking very appealing. In walks an old favorite OATMEAL. These are just the simple instant kind but it really hit the spot. The Apple Cinnamon flavor with the addition of some chia seeds was a great breakfast.
All from my favorite mug…giving Time Warner some props. I actually came across a great story that they sent out their internet van in NYC to help people without power charge their devices and connect to the web. What a great thing to do! Now don’t get me started on the marathon and the NYRR. Gesh….that is madness!
