Friday! It’s Friday, Friday Friday. I’m not sure why I’m so excited about this my weekend is jam-packed with hockey, soccer and kid events that make my head spin just thinking about them. I truly sometimes miss weekends with no plans. But my children love their activities as much as I used to love those lazy days , so it’s a fair trade. And honestly I love watching them so I shouldn’t complain about busy!
Moving quickly into fitness FRIDAY!
This week was the 30 day marker for P90X which means measurements. I’ve been feeling kind of blah about this session. I haven’t been as hardcore about making the classes and trying to beat everyone every time this round. Maybe that’s for the best. I’ve also been focusing more on teaching great classes which has taken away from my intensity for P90X.
The good news is that sometimes even when you aren’t watching closely you get results! I’ve been feeling kind of blah as I said but my stats wouldn’t show it. I’m down another 5 pounds since the beginning (September 16) and have lost over 6 inches! Woot-Woot for results. I’m making my own personal goal of more toning for the next 30 days. I think part of my blah is while I’m still loosing I’m not as tight as I once felt. Look out heavier weights I’m coming for you.
All in all I’m excited, results are results and I’m happy to be where I’m at!
So here is what the fitness week looked like:
Tuesday- 2 mile run
Thursday- Spin/ 5k
Sunday- Yoga ( I hope!)
This week has not been a great example for fitness Friday, but this is life as a mother. It’s been busy around these parts there was also CPR training and a social media breakfast as well as bunch of school events with the boys.
Whole 30 is coming along. I may have had a meal slip up yesterday but how can you say no to this face asking you to lunch at a place that does NOT serve one item that is whole 30 approved?
I couldn’t say no, so I had some fish…I guessed it was the best option? I have no idea if that is true.
Sorry this short today but I’m running out to soccer now….the weekend has officially begun!
Question of the day: How did you move this week?
