Happy Hump Day! It’s been far too long since I’ve shared with you some iphone apps for fitness. The highlight of today’s round-up? ….All the apps are free! There are some apps I would spend money on, but for the most part these apps can keep you pumped up and sweating without hurting your budget bottom lines.
First Up: MAP MY RUN:
Map my run is a GPS tracker for running and walking. Keep track of your fitness by knowing how far you’ve travelled. The split mile times are great but I’m finding that sometimes the GPS can be a little off. If you are looking for great way to keep track of your milage this app is a great download.
Staying on a budget and meal planning is an important part of my household. It has become even more important since I left my job to stay home and start my own business. This app has been a life saver. With 1000’s of easy recipes and grocery stores sales it has saved me lots of time in getting organized.you can create shopping lists and know the deals at your local stores. Pick your store and learn what meals you can create from the sale items. I don’t use this app as my end all be all but the options of food are always nice to see when I’m running low on culinary imagination.
I’m always on the hunt for new workout ideas especially weight workouts. Cardio always seem to have an endless supply of ideas but when searching for new weight ideas I feel like I’m searching for a needle in a haystack. Well look no further this app has lots of workout options along with optional videos of how to complete each movement. The only thing this app doesn’t provide is a spotter!
