Wow so all I can say is the #140Cuse conference yesterday was an amazing experience! I met so many wonderful folks and learned even more about the world of NOW. There is great evidence that twitter is a driving force in our Social Media lives. And since I adore twitter and the community I have them it’s exciting yet not surprising news! The biggest take away from the day: there are people on the other side of this computer connect with them and engage them! If you follow me on twitter I’m sorry for the overload! Today we are back to normal amounts of tweets! But not for long…for more on that keep reading
Here’s some fun photo’s from the day:
Fun…badges with photo’s at least it’s a picture I like that looks like me.
There was some great swag sorry no picture I forgot! Even a reusable bag from Wegmans and we all know how much I love me some Wegmans!
I had an amazing salad for lunch! After filling my brain with information I filled my belly with some healthy greens and maybe some of that sugar cookie you see there
The highlight for me was getting I.D.-ed for a glass of wine at the reception afterwords. Heck yes I’m 30 and have two kids you can ID me for 21 anytime!! Oh and this ice sculpture was a sight to be seen as well:
There was a live stream yesterday from the event and I hope it was recorded somewhere for later viewing. If you write a blog or work in any field there were some wonderful take away’s! You might find the stream on the site 140Cuse.com
Sadly for me workout wise yesterday was an unexpected rest day. After a whole day of conferencing it up I was beat and traded in a nice run for my nice warm bed! Eight hours of sleep later I’m a whole new person. Today is a run day!
While at the conference yesterday I got some unexpected and wonderful news about another conference! The Fitness Blogger Meet & Tweet event in NYC! I haven’t been blogging for long ( but thank you to all my wonderful readers!) and therefore didn’t think I would be considered! I got my email RSVP yesterday!!
MAY 9th you can find this girl rocking her twitter account from #FITBLOGNYC Plane tickets are booked. I’m taking a one day siesta. It promises to be another great networking event and if you haven’t gathered yet I love people!
I also finally signed up for the Race for the Cure. All politics aside I have a family history and think it’s an important race not only for survivors to show they had cancer, cancer never had them but also to see the support of families and community members. In that sea of PINK on race day there are some amazing stories of tragedy and triumph. It is honestly the one race I’m always excited to run and support.
Are you looking forward to any conferences or runs this summer? I would love to hear about them! Commenting is caring 😉
