There is nothing like a day that includes Chobani Yogurt, Cupcakes and Birthday Cards!
Last night was one of my many holiday parties! The one I was especially excited for! There is nothing better than some fun ladies and eggnog to make an excellent holiday party!
A great blogger would have lots of pictures of the event to share but since this blogger was running crazy late she forgot her camera
But you can image a spread of food that almost rivals Christmas, wine, AND a Chinese Gift Exchange!
I haven’t been involved in one in a few years, and it’s a lot of fun with a group of people. If you’re not familiar here are the rules: The first participant draws or calls a gift’s number. The second player chooses or may take the gift from the first. This is called stealing. Subsequent players follow. If someone is a victim of a theft, she may steal or select a number. I was #2 I picked the bag from a cute local store here in town and got an amazing tin photo holder that would look killer in my hallway. If only the rules were that simple then the fabulous tin photo frame would be hanging in my hall. As luck would have it though I was a victim of gift theft and instead “stole” this beauty for myself:
YESSSS! I am in cupcake love right now with this book! I’ve seen the show on TV a few times, I can not wait to try some of these recipes! I will share with you as I make them! The party was a success and although I do miss that photo frame I’m thinking this prize I can put to lots of use!
WHO ever says social media doesn’t work is doing it WRONG. I have been a fan of Chobani since the beginning. Their Black Cherry flavor can turn your worse day into the best ever! (it’s THAT good!) And so when you love a brand social media now allows you to easily keep up to date with them. As social media
nerd professional myself I felt last week was a good time to tell them what an excellent job I think they are doing. Seriously you can find them on pinterest with kitchen cooking ideas, they are involved in #fitblogs, and on twitter they respond lightning fast to any tweet. It really is impressive!
They responded to my tweet and asked me to send them my address…..uummmm ok DONE ………..and today this yummy package arrived! I was not compensated in any way for this post but this is a company that gets it! Kudos to @chobani !
In my excitement over yogurt, I almost missed this beautiful anonymous Birthday Card I received in the mail from someone who received one of my acts of kindness from a few weeks ago:
How awesome is this:
Today has been an unexpected wonderful day that filled my heart with happiness and will soon fill my belly with yogurt and cupcakes
Have you ever received a great surprise gift from a company or person?
