So I’ve been talking about it non-stop all week but I’m pumped for this boot camp! I can’t hide my excitement or my soreness 😉
Here is how my week “worked out”:
HIIT workouts are amazing and I wish I had done about a bazzillion more of them this week. I took a rest day in the middle of the week to get ready for the bridal shower but other than that I’ve been a busy bee. This doesn’t even include a few spin classes and one eventful butt & gut class I took! I’m also doing twice a week Tabata workouts my sister-in-law. My 5k times have been steadily getting faster all summer long. I’m looking for a race close by to see how FAST I can finish. I’m feeling so much stronger and it makes me smile when even my husband can notice I’m loosing it.
I have been so sore all week. I’m feeling muscles, I never even knew I had before. I’m enjoying the added push in my workouts. Tina’s workouts have supersets in them, which I had never tried before. Basically if you are working on your left arm (leg) you do all drills on one side before moving on to the right arm (leg)….HOLY HELL IT HURTS. I know it’s working when I’m shaking finishing up the last set.
I’m trying to add in variety and get outdoors as much as possible.

Then the burner of all burners: Jumping drills! I love this little step it’s great for jumping! It’s amazing how quickly you can get your heart rate up with a few of these babies! Notice my smile this is the beginning by the end I’m crying…
I’ve also been newly inspired by the Olympics to get my butt back in the pool and put in some laps! I swam competitively for many, MANY years of my life and I miss the smell of chlorine on my skin. I’m thinking about putting together a little pool workout for you folks who might be interested.
