I’m easy breezy and apparently faster than I used to be! P90X is paying off, I’m feeling stronger, my arms are getting more toned and my running is getting quick

If you’ve read this blog for any amount of time you know ALL about my favorite run route…the one with the MASSIVE hill in it. I’ve talked about it many times like here, and here. That hill and I are arch nemeses. It pushes me, I push back and we are basically at a standing tie for the win.
My goal has been to get it in under 35 minutes…Well….I’m just a shade away and so excited about my latest PR on the route. Just 26 seconds away from the goal BIG goal and a 3 minute PR from my last record. Mind you that goal was made over a year ago when I was finishing this course in just over 42 minutes. This just goes to show that progress even when it is slow is still progress!! Stick to it!
P90X has been one of the greatest programs, I’ve been involved in! The people in the classes and the instructors are all top-notch and so encouraging. I’m completing in proper form and many reps moves I NEVER thought I could accomplish. I like the mix of fast movements and slow movements. I’m just 3 weeks into the program and have already dropped 3 minutes off my best time. I can’t wait to see where this leads!! Kudos to the Y for the offering. Most people have to complete it in their living rooms alone. I enjoy the group setting since we are all pushing each other.
My diet has remained pretty close to paleo since completing whole 30, which I think is helping too. #EatCleanSweatDirty right Chef Katelyn?
This Sunday is calling for some relaxing family time we are all battling a little cold. And also some relaxing Rodney Yee yoga! Oh and maybe an Iron Man 1 & 2 movie marathon?
Question of the Day: What are you up to today?
