It’s been stellar so far! Yesterday I finally saw The Hunger Games, and although not as great as the book it was still a pretty good movie!
I took a much-needed trip to the outlet mall. That resulted in some amazing finds for both me and the husband. He’s been on the hunt for new sneaks for a while which he finally found and my wardrobe turned into all black a few months back so it was time to add some bright spring colors! The Loft outlet did not disappoint! Lot’s of green ($$) and pretty new spring colors later I can put all the black to rest for a while!
There is so much BLUE this season and I can’t get enough. This shirt was one of my favorite finds as well as new Bright blue scarf! I got 4 pairs of pants for under $14 a piece which is UNHEARD of for me! I was and am so excited!
This morning full of happiness after my great shopping trip, I gathered all my coupons in my new jeans and headed to the stores. I got up early this morning and did a quick weight work out while I caught up on “Bethenny Ever After”. ( it cracks me up!)
I was in such a hurry to wear the new jeans them I didn’t both washing them first and just took the tags off and threw them on. Got all my coupons deals. I even impressed the cashier at CVS who was shocked by my savings. (I love being under budget on the first of the month! Headed to the grocery store to get ready for the week. Only to arrive home and notice I had forgotten to remove the size sticker down the back of the leg!!
I went from store to store this morning feeling great in my jeans and then spent my afternoon horrified by how many people probably noticed and said nothing because of April Fools! Ah those Fools in April!
Workout: 30 minutes of weights which went something like this:
Warm up with a step for 3 minutes, lots of squats with and without weight, sit ups, crunches, planks, triceps curls, bicep curls, overheard presses, and a million more squats with some weights.
I need to start alternating my workouts and I’m really missing spin classes! My gym is constantly full when I have the ability to workout, I’m thinking it might be time to find a new one. They only have ONE Sunday morning Spin class and you must reserve a bike the day before. I called at 9:10am on Saturday morning for the Sunday at 9:20 class and it was already full, this is beyond discouraging and annoying. And I wish I could say this hasn’t been the case for the past 4 weeks but I would be lying!
Lunch today was a special treat since it was just me and my littlest guy. His choice peanut butter and jelly. I have to say it was delicious! source
Now to veg for the rest of my Sunday.
