My name is Reneé Benda I am Upstate New Yorker interested in all things healthy-living related!  I started this blog to document my life, pursuit of healthy living and to inspire others.  Most of this blog will be about fitness,  healthy-living, parenting, awesome apps and random thoughts that pass through my head. By day I work in digital media and advertising which trust me has never been,  and is NOT as glamorous as it is portrayed in the movies. By night I’m a first-rate wife and mom of two crazy little boys!  I’m addicted to my iphone/ipad and am always on the hunt for the latest tools and gadgets.

Meet the Mr. my better half.

You may also come across his two little mini-me’s. There is a bigger one and a little one. I don’t use their names here but you can  call them R (big one) and B (little one).

I’m a firm believer if you’re bored then you’re boring. There is too much to see and do in this world  and life is too short to have a moment of it wasted. Imagination will take you far in life if you follow it for a bit.

I started running after I had my oldest son R. I gained WELL over the recommended amount when pregnant and was looking to shed many pounds. I didn’t know how addicting it would become! I love the feeling after a good run. I get to clear my mind and push myself all at the same time. I’m not the world’s fastest runner but for me it isn’t yet about speed. It’s the feeling of freedom!
