Yesterday was a great day. Seriously. I found a full new box of contact lens (score!), had a great catch up lunch with an old boss, and there was a thunder and lightning storm. I don’t know why those made for such a fantastic day but they did! It was also an off day from P90X for me. So I took it to the gym and created this fun little workout. The amount of weight you use is up to you. You want heavier weight since it isn’t a ton of reps. You can also break these out into 10 reps and 3 sets rather than just 30 out-and-out reps.
I wasn’t expecting to be soar today but my arms are feeling the burn. I’ve been working on increasing the weight amount especially in the seated row. So if you are looking to shake it up a little this week give this workout a try* *I am not a doctor I don’t even play one on TV. If you are thinking about starting a new workout routine please ask the professionals. I’m just sharing with you what I’ve been doing.*
I’ve also been playing with some new camera apps. I recently discovered TimerCam for iphone. It is just what it sounds like an iphone camera app that automatically takes photos on a timer! I played around a little with it yesterday and I think it’s going to take me some getting used to. Check out this great bench press face:
I tried out some new sweet potato crisps yesterday after seeing the “recipe” on the Disney Channel. Sadly I think I missed an important step because they did NOT come out correctly. I wish I had taken a picture so you could see the amazing culinary skills at work when it all goes wrong. I would be a terrible contestant on any of those cooking shows because if it goes wrong in my kitchen there is NO fixing it midstream! There is just a lot of sailor speak and laughter. I’m going to play around with them some more today and with any luck have a real recipe to you this week!
I also found this gem that made me laugh!
My garden is NO closer to getting planted. I can’t wait till the weekend to finally get all my seeds in a row!
Have a great day!
Question of the Day: What are you up to this week?
