After the CRAZIEST week of my life I have to admit I wasn’t really feeling like this run. The weather wasn’t helping either that sky is grey with a mighty big chance of a cold rain!
Sponsors as always much love and appreciation for these great running events!
I’ve been hearing more and more about Girls on the Run programs that encourage young ladies to get moving. I came across these pretty butterflies and was excited to see they were part of the GOTR team!
They are sooo cute! Run it ladies!
The local power company team were dressed in their safety gear!
The run for me was decent I wasn’t on my best and I knew that about 22 seconds into the race. I finished with a time of 35 minutes which may have been a PR for this course. I have to do some digging to find out. I’m going to start working with my Couch 2 5K app again I think. I seem to be in a 33-35 minute hole right now. I need to break through in order to get my sub 30 minute 5k by the end of the summer! It’s time to make it count!! I didn’t get a picture of me at the event sadly because my running partner couldn’t make it to the race today and I’m noooo good at self cell phone portraits. I did wear my pretty silver sparkly soul headband! I love that thing!
Afterwords I celebrated with a big ole’ iced coffee! Thank you DD I love you on the Run and after as well!
Happy Saturday Everyone!
What are you doing to move today?
