CONGRATULATIONS to my Bijou Pay it Forward Gift Certificate Winner: Nicole Lieber
Send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to collect your prize! Thanks for playing everyone. And don’t worry I’m happy to let you know I’ve got SEVERAL giveaways coming up this month you won’t want to miss!
I promise, I am done whining about my race this weekend! PROMISE!
And in the spirit of NOT getting conquered by things I can’t control, I’m all signed up for a new race! My mantra is “Press On!” Hear that legs? I’m getting my sub 29!
I’m looking forward to running my first It’s Wonderful Life Run! I know there are lots of you reading this who are running this as well! It came highly promoted by you guys! I’m especially excited to get to meet and run with Sarah from Mom Running on Empty. Sarah and I are both FitFluential and Girlsgonesporty Ambasssadors, reppin’ Upstate NY but we’ve never met! Whaaaaattt?! We need to fix that and at this race we will.
Yesterday was the beginning of week 10 of P90X….seriously it’s been 10 weeks already? My triceps are still crying a little today based on the amount they were used. But I have to say I’m feeling stronger everyday.
Since it’s been a little cool around these parts…and I hate snow. I’ve been craving something warm and filling at meal times. I happened to pick up some cheese tortellini at the grocery store this week that were on sale and I knew it was a perfect day to break out my big cooking pot for some Spinach Tomato Tortellini soup! Plus it gave me a great reason to use my New Wooden Spoon!
This photo isn’t the best but I promise this tasted really good!
And the great news is making this soup was sort of like meal planning since I know what I will be re-heating for my meals until it’s gone!
Looking to try some new in your workouts this week?! Try out this Devil of a Workout…I’m starting to teach a new class this week and think this might be a good introduction for me to the class. More on that tomorrow!
Make it a great day everyone!
Question of the Day: What is your favorite way to fit in a quick a workout?
